I would buy the Chevy. According to market trends, the Dodge has a lower resale, or residual value. This is purely my opinion, which is based on observations that I've made in the new and used car markets.

The ONLY way I'd buy a Dodge Pickup is that it has to have the CUMMINS diesel powerplant. This historically tends to be one of the FEW Dodge trucks that hold their resale (residual) value.

Chevy Silverado, Dodge is complete junk that will not hold it's value ever. Actually go look at the Toyota Tundra or Nissan Titan, if you want a good value long lasting truck.
