Like the above answer states, the RAM is good for heavier applications, but if you are only goung to use it for light hauling, the Dakota's fuel economy will probably be better suited to you.

Well I have had both and use it in my work. For my money the Dodge Ram series is better for the ruff stuff I put my truck through.

It is a better built and had the engine size I was looking for. It has the pulling power I wanted and it proformed better then I expected.

it depends on what you are wanting to use it for...if its for an everyday use light duty then the dodge dakota..but if your wanting a heavyer duty truck then the ram would be best

well it depends. for fuel economy n fair power, a dakota is fine. but if u r lookin for power, u want a ram.
