I am try to fix my speedometer, but I messed every thing up and now my mileage is reading zero and I need to get it back to what it was.

take it back to the dealer or another dodge dealer, explain what happened, and they should be able to fix whatever ya did wrong.

Unfortunately for you it is illegal to try and repair a broken speedometer on your own, the governement fears that people will change their odometers. Hopefully if you take it into the neaest dealer and explain to them that you didn't know that little unfortunate fact they will just fix it for you, including your odometer.
