taillights dont work on 1998 doge truck and dash light?

Question

1998 dodge 4x4 1500 360 truck tail light and dash light quit working but the blinkers and hazard and break lights are working i guess you would call the running light are not working when you turn on the lights at night headlight all come on just the rear are not and the dash are not we replace the head light switch and bulbs steering collum switch and break switch but still not working check fusse

you need to check for power coming out of the light switch when its turned on and make sure it has power coming from the fuse box though the light switch and on to the wiring harness that runs out to the running lights,those was real bad to cause problems from the light switch to the harness,if its not blowing any fuse you have lost power in the main harness,and that can take some time to find,id start probing the wires where they come from the light switch and go out to the harness for power ,that's the way i have found a few of those that didn't work,good luck.
